Services Export Promotion Council, set up by Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India has been mandated to facilitate global business opportunities for India’s services sector. The Council since its inception in 2006 has been instrumental in facilitating exports of services through Trade Intelligence, Export Development, Export Promotion, Enabling Business Environment. SEPC has broad roles and responsibilities viz. to create business opportunities for both aspiring and established service exporters; to serve as a bridge between the Government and the Industry—providing policy recommendations, addressing industry concerns, and offering insights into global markets (both existing and emerging) with regard to opportunities, challenges, and regulatory landscapes; & to facilitate service exports by developing business enablers such as incentive structures and organizing targeted, market-oriented promotional events and activities.
