Mr. Stavrou, born in Alambra in 1959, is a graduate of The English School Nicosia and holds a First Class Honors degree in Accounting and Finance from Middlesex Polytechnic (London). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (UK), and holds a Diploma for Non-Executive Directors. He has held senior executive roles in the oil and gas industry, including Group CFO and Managing Director, and has served on numerous boards across sectors such as banking, insurance, mining, shipping, and property development. He currently serves as President of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
