Irene Piki

Deputy Minister to President, Republic of Cyprus

Irene Piki has served as Deputy Minister to the President of Cyprus since March 1, 2023. She holds a BSc in Regional Science (Economics and Human Geography) from the University of Reading and an MSc in Environmental and Natural Resources Economics from UCL. A career technocrat in the Cypriot public service from 1997 to 2023, she has held senior roles covering economic policy, reforms, investments, and EU affairs, including Director of Economic Policy and European Affairs at the Ministry of Finance. She has also served on the boards of Invest Cyprus, the Research and Innovation Foundation, the Cyprus Organization for Standardization, and the Cyprus Economy and Competitiveness Council, representing Cyprus in key EU economic and cohesion policy committees.
